Thank you for using the services of the Bledisloe Holdings Pty Ltd group of funeral home companies. Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, this notice is issued explaining our company compliance needs in respect to the collection and use of private and confidential information.

Under the provisions of the Federal Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 which came into force on 22 December 2001, the company is required to collect private and sensitive information for statutory purposes and is not to be disclosed to anyone, except as required by law.

Should a request be received to access any personal information contained in company records relating to you or your family, we will require them to provide a written request and suitable identification in order to ensure they are entitled to have access to the records requested.

Any request to alter or correct personal information contained in company records or files will be limited to the fact that they are statutory records and therefore may only be altered in limited circumstances.

Should you wish to have access to, or wish to correct any personal information, your request should be put in writing to the Queensland Chief Operating Officer who, for the purposes of the Federal Privacy Act, has been determined as the primary officer.
